Academic

I have an MPhil in Criticism and Culture from the University of Cambridge and a BA in English Literature from the University of Oxford, during which my research orbited ideas of spatial form, interdisciplinarity, and the narrative structure of ‘the contemporary.’ The following posts are some extracted samples.

Extract from my ‘Criticism and Culture’ MPhil Thesis written in June 2022. This section used Mina Loy’s work to newly consider the debates surrounding boundary in the the aesthetic manifestos circulating during the modernist period.

Details of scholarship received at Cambridge University.

Extract from an essay written for a module on ‘Literature in the 1930s’ at Oxford University. This focused on Woolf, Hepworth, and debates surrounding Modernist spatial form. An edited version of this essay was later awarded the Wood Whistler Prize at Cambridge University.
